Amy Winkles possesses a maturity that is misleading when one considers it in relation to her age. Anyone who has had the
opportunity to observe her as a worship leader or performer can attest to the power of her heart, her soul, and her very
spirit intertwined with the presence of God. As her voice graces the songs she raises in praise, Amy actively and with an
unquestionable passion engages all the individuals she celebrates in worship with, from her fellow musicians to the throngs
of believers who sing along. All are enraptured with the intensity of her voice but even more importantly to Amy, with the
Spirit whose presence is both felt and known.

Long before she ever became aware of her ministerial calling, Amy's life was being shaped by God even as she herself was being
shaped.
In July of 1982, Amy was born into a family of multi-talented singers and musicians. "I sang my first song publicly when I was four," Amy recalls. "It was 'Master of the Wind.' I still remember every word."
At the age of twelve, Amy's youth pastor asked her to help lead worship for her peers. Gratefully, Amy accepted the opportunity to serve and began the journey of a minister and an artist.
Throughout her teenage years and into her time at North Georgia College where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Amy's voice and calling were both maturing and growing stronger. "During my time [at college], I grew a lot in discipline and ability. [I] worked with extraordinary people of musicianship and character who have played a huge role in shaping [both] my music and my character."

With an artist's soul, Amy crafts original works of worship that stem from both everyday life and the Word of God. "Circumstances
- whether mine or someone else's...trials, joys...they are a way to put out a message of the hope, grace, love and fulfillment
found in Christ alone."
Amy's musical influences are as unique and diverse as she is, with influences in terms of both artistry and spirituality that range from the late Keith Green to her contemporaries such as Plumb and Nichole Nordeman. Amy has a matchless voice with a quality born out of both a desire to perform at the highest caliber and out of her love for Jesus Christ. She performs with an extraordinary level of professionalism and drive that points to her Creator and "Reason for it all." It seems as if a baton has been passed on to her which she readily takes up with deep appreciation in both servanthood and in performance. However, the artistic attributes that guide her heart and spirit are firmly rooted in the time Amy spends in studying the Word and in her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
With the faith and love of a child and the humility of someone who is truly grateful for the opportunities presented to her, Amy remains thankful for the talents and gifts she's been given. She exists in the hope her songs and her life will bring praise, honor and glory to God the Father.
